As this was the first game of the season, sports were very high. After a summer of training, the girls were more than ready to take on Archbishop Mitty

For the first game, the girls did very well, showing great strength in teamwork.  After a tiring game,  Junoir Maeva Herbert-paz (26) shares her thoughts on the team’s success “Everyone contributed and we played together super well as a team”.

Teamwork was a strong theme in this game. if you paid close attention to the game you would notice that during the second half, there was a shift in the girls mentality, and you could more clearly see their drive to win.

“The team really worked together in the second half to pull out with the win,” Maeave said. “it was super great.”

This is only the first game of the season, the girls have so much more to show us.  ’24 water polo season, and there will be much more to come from our Paly girls team shortly. So, stays tuned and keep up the good work girls!
