On Thursday Palo Alto girls Waterpolo crushed their biggest rival, Gunn High School 20-1. Amassing an impressive array of wins with only 3 losses.
The team brought the winning energy from the start of the game to the finish to take home an impressive 20-1 win. The girls walked into this game with a winning mindset leaving the game confident and prideful
“We played strong throughout and it was fun to be able to play against our Palo Alto School. We were hype in and out of the pool” junior Estelle Dufour said (‘26)said.
This game was a good opportunity to go back to the basics for many. Spirits were high and the energy was there, and the opponent didn’t seem to offer much challenge, therefore, providing a perfect game to practice.
“It was a really good opportunity for everyone to work on the basics in this low-stakes game, it was super fun to watch everyone play together.” said junior Fallon Porter (’26).
Next week the girls will play the Castilleja Gators at a home game on the first of October.
