Paly Girls Field Hockey faced the Presentation Panthers at home on a Tuesday evening. The team lost 1-2 but still continued to feel strong about their work as a team.

Going into the game, they were very confident in themselves, and in their ability to work together and reach their expectations. There were some difficulties in shooting goals, however, the team will not let this loss define them as a team.

“Unfortunately we lost to the other team, but we were definitely the stronger team and we had way more shots on goal than them,” Sophomore Hannah Niebuhr said.

Despite the loss, the team’s performance was impressive, and they succeeded in key aspects of the game.

“I think transferring the ball worked very well in yesterday’s game and overall I would say that the score doesn’t reflect the game at all, ” Niebuhr said.

The team being in a positive mindset, are able to improve from this game and come off strong for their next game.

Paly Field Hockey will play at Los Altos high school today, Thursday October 17th at 4:00 p.m.
