On Tuesday, Paly Girls tennis suffered a tough 6-1 loss against St. Ignatius.
“This season has been really fun” sophomore Tess Li said, “It’s definitely challenging without our number one player.”
Although they lost, the team still has their hopes high because they only need one more win to stay in the highest division. “We’re in a position in the upper leagues where we’re one of the weaker teams, so we’re gonna get beat a lot,” Coach Andy Harader said. “Our objective is to stay in the upper league.”
The team’s next match is away against Archbishop Mitty High School on 10/24. Come out to support the Vikings!
