Paly Cross Country’s season ended after a successful season, gaining an average league placement of 4.75 across league matchups and placing an extremely impressive 9th during the CIF State Cross Country Championships.
The team was led by Senior Kinga Czajkowska, who placed second at the State meet and recently committed D1 to run at Cornell University.
Additionally, the team was able to work together to push forward and succeed despite injuries, digging deep and using their impressive team spirit in order to achieve a variety of impressive results across the meets.
“I, and a couple others got injured early in the season,” Junior Andrei Seletskiy said. “But we had a lot of people step up and deliver some great results.”
Looking into the future, the team plans to build on a strong season, and despite the losses of 11 graduating seniors, the team is expecting to grow and build going into next year.
