On Thursday, October 3rd, the Paly field hockey team beat Valley Christian 2-1 in a close game.
Throughout the season, the team has been focused on their team chemistry as a way to strengthen their bonds and improve their playing intensity.
“I think we had a really great game and our skills and chemistry have improves do much from the last time we played Valley Christian,” sophomore Ella Renazco-Sperling said. “We all had a fun time on and off the field.”
This season, Valley Christian has been a fair competitor for the Vikings, having faced them twice and securing a win with a score of 2-1 both times.
“Overall I am pretty happy with how our team played and meshed together, and we fought till the end,” junior Charlotte Barclay said.
