The Paly Varsity Girls Soccer Team beat the Santa Clara Bruins 42-32 on Tuesday. Coming off a loss, the team wanted to bounce back against Santa Clara. Camryn Ogawa talked about how their increased communication played a key role in their successful performance.
“I thought that we did really well together and we were communicating really well,” junior Ogawa said.
They were making it a key point to adjust to Santa Clara’s offense, by reading some of the plays while the Bruins were calling them.
“We picked up on what they were doing, and adjusted from there,” Ogawa said.
The team kept working in the second half and made sure to capitalize on all of their chances.
With this win, the team is placed as a strong contender for CCS and is sure to continue improving.
