Paly boys basketball beat Lowell High School in their third home game this year, with yet another double-digit win as they won, 45-35. Senior Shreyas Shashi talked about how the team came together to pull away.
“We came out slow with sloppy defense and put up poor shots,” Shashi said. “After the first half, we came out with way more energy and way more focus which propelled us to the win.”
This win adds onto the Vikings record as they now sit at six and one on the season. Junior Jake Wang gives his thoughts on how this is good for the team but could also be bad.
“With this win could come lots of complacency and that would destroy team chemistry and the momentum that we currently have,” Wang said.
This win now sends the Vikings into their Christmas break tournament where they will play teams from all across the country. Their next home game will be January 4th against Mountain View which will be their first league game of the season.
