Paly Boy’s Wrestling crushed the Mountain View wrestling team during their final home meet of the season on Thursday.
Making it the final meet of the season, the team had been practicing hard all week to ensure one final victory at home for the season.
The meet was full of electrifying performances, including a phenomenal feat of athleticism by sophomore Daniel Zappas, who pinned his opponent early in the 2nd period.
“Some of us like to stay after practice to focus on things we need to work on so it was nice to see them execute in the game,” Zappas said. “It’s like a brotherhood in there and I was proud of how our guys fought through.”
Although Paly’s home meets have ended, they aim to secure victory in one final away meet in Milpitas on February 26th before the season concludes.
