Paly Girls Soccer beat Los Altos 1-0 on senior night, Friday the 14th. This was the second meeting of the season between the two teams. Los Altos taking the previous matchup 3-0.
This was an important win for the team. Coming off of their 3-1 loss to Gunn two days prior, the team was also without several of their key players.
“We played pretty good especially not having our full starting 11.” Reyes Aronson (’26) said. “We played very consistent through out the game keeping majority of possession and getting good chances in front of goal.”
Aronson, who scored the deciding goal in the final moments of the game, was a standout performer for the team and led the effort that led to the win.
Girls Soccer finished the regular season with a six win, five loss and three tie record overall. As well as a six win, five loss and one tie record in the SCVAL-De Anza league.
The team qualified for the CCS playoffs that began the following week.
