The Paly boys volleyball team swept The King’s Academy in three straight sets on March 17th.
The first set was a nail-biter, as the Vikings squeaked out a 25-23 win to set the tone for the rest of the game.
“We should specifically work on improving our serves so we can scan out more pressure on the opponent earlier in the play,” sophomore Tiam Maurstad said.
The Vikings were able to settle down and take control over the second set, winning it 25-16, as well as the third set, winning that one 25-14.
“We definitely play as a team very well, but there is always something we can improve on,” Maurstad said.
As of now, the Vikings have an undefeated 4-0 record in league, and an overall record of 9-4.
The Vikings’ next home game is on March 26th against MacDonald High School, where the Vikings hope to continue their dominant play.
