The Paly girl’s Golf team had a successful season with an overall record of 6 wins and 4 losses. Coming into the season, they were skeptical whether or not they could perform well because a large portion of their team was newcomers.

“Many of the newcomers that came into our team were completely new, so they had to start learning from the very basics,” junior Jessica Wong said.

Despite the inexperience, the team still managed to adapt and perform decently well for the season.

“I believe we were successful this season, “Wong said. “Although we didn’t win our league, we developed a lot this year, and that is what really matters.”

When the seniors graduate next year, the rest of the team is confident that they can be successful next season.

“Because of the improvement of the freshmen, I believe that we can perform well for next season,” Wong said.
