[NEW YORK CITY] – In the wake of the New York Knicks’ head coach Mike D’Antoni’s resignation, Mike Woodson captured his first win as the new Head Coach in a 121-79 rout of the Portland Trailblazers.
The 42-point win was the biggest margin of victory in the history of the Knicks’ franchise’s history. New York’s defense was stout and they only conceded 29 points in the first half; the Knicks also had five players score in double figures.
The Viking Sports Magazine and InFocus took to the streets in Times Square in New York City following a sold-out performance of Spiderman: Turn Off the Dark on Broadway at Foxwoods Theatre. Linsanity hit home for many New Yorkers because of the very recent and exciting win, though some weren’t as informed of the No. 17 player’s recent successes. Here’s what they said of “Linsanity.”
“It’s [Linsanity] a great thing – it resembles team sports and that’s why I bought this [a Linsanity t-shirt]. The Knicks will take on the Indiana Pacers Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. in Madison Square Garden.
