Paly Girls Golf faced off against and beat the Homestead Mustangs on October 16 in a dominant showing to improve their record to 6-2 in 2024.
The Vikings won by a wide margin of 31 strokes, the final score being 257-288.
“It was one of our best performances of the season, and everyone on the team did a great job,” Devon Cardwell (‘26) said.
The Vikings started off strong, nailing almost every shot and kept that performance up through the entire course.
The win reflected the Vikings growth over the season.
“This win showed we had really grown as a team and was so much fun,” Devon Cardwell (‘26) said.
The whole team seemed to enjoy the win and have a lot of fun playing on the course at the Baylands.
“I was very happy because the course we played was very fun and the people I was playing against were very nice,” Sadie Bang (‘26) said.
The Vikings improved their record to 6-2 with this win.
