The Palo Alto High School boys’ varsity water polo team dominated Berkeley High School 15-3 and Mount Tamalpais 12-5 during the CCS v. NCS Challenge Tournament at St. Francis High School this Friday.
Captain Bret Pinsker (13′) scored several goals and led his team to two strong wins. The team’s defense was also very solid, especially when playing with one less player in the water.
“As a team we really started working together and we improved. Our confidence was boosted and we’re getting pumped for league games,” Omri Newman (‘14) said. “We’re ready to beat Gunn on Tuesday.”
