Israel Hakim is a two year varsity basketball player for Palo Alto High School. He is an amazing athlete who has shined on the court this season, so we picked him for the Viking Magazine’s “Viking in the Spotlight.”

Annie is a senior at Paly and joined The Viking staff last year because she's a fan of Paly sports and journalism. She plays for the varsity basketball team as a shooting guard and was part of the first ever CCS Championship team two years ago season. On the weekends she volunteers at the Palo Alto Animal Shelter with cats that are up for adoption.
