In a home game on Wednesday, our Paly girls’ lacrosse team faced our rivals from across town, Gunn High School. It was a close game that ended in a 9-11 loss for Paly, but despite the final score, the team was proud of the way they played.
“Our girls put up a really hard fight despite certain uncontrollables. We will be well prepared for when we face these rivals again, on their senior night.” Junoir Natalie Dymmel (26′).
Despite a loss, the Vikings kept their heads up and stayed positive.
The girls knew that Gunn was going to present a challenging game, so practices leading up to the game were intense “we certainly did a lot of conditioning that week,” Junoir Meera Singh said (’26) and although the girls did ultimately lose, they felt that they had prepared well and put up an admerial fight.
Paly girls’ varsity will play again on 3/21/2025 against Los Gatos in an away game.
