On April 1oth, 2026 Jordan Johnsson has broke the record for the fastest 100m ever recorded at Paly. As a sophomore, Johnsson has been steadily improving his play, starting out with a time of 10.62, and ending the season at a 10.44. He won the race he was participating in, clearing first by just only 0.25 seconds.
When it came to commenting on Johnsons performance, Sophomore Kai Russel was impressed on Johnssons performance.
“This is huge, I’m proud of my teammate, I mean I don’t know if I could come close to that,” sophomore Kai Russel said.
As the track season comes to a close, the team can look at this moment as something to hang their hat on.
