Last Thursday, October 2nd, the girls’ flag football team played their first home game at Earl Hansen against Silver Creek, winning 20-15.
“It was a very exciting moment, and we all felt very proud considering it was the first home flag football game in history at Paly,” freshman Lucy Bothe said.
The team played strong and smart throughout the match. They stayed in control of the game and the pace of the plays.
“The game went well, the team played good, I still think we could’ve done better, especially with defense but a win a win and we still have many more to come,” sophomore Hakiti Pongi said.
Although the team won, there’s always room for improvement, and the team is excited to see what the rest of the season brings them.
