The Vikings pull out a 7-6 win against Menlo, marking the start of a great season and giving them momentum leading into their upcoming games.
“The game against Menlo was really intense and neck and neck the whole game,” Senior Maeva Paz said. “With strong counters and heavy press defense, we were able to pull out a win.”
The outcome of the game was determined by how well the Vikings could perform as a unit. “The game was very successful because we came together as a team and off the bat came out with intent, intensity, and strength,” Senior Delilah Kaplinsky said.
After this hard-fought victory, the Vikings are energized for their next matchup against Harker, hoping to widen the margin on the scoreboard.
