The Vikings dominated their first league game against Harker High School, cruising to a 16-3 win and setting an early tone for the rest of the season.
“Yesterday our game went well, we wanted to start out strong for our first league game super strong and we came out really aggressive and scored off the bat,” Senior Maeva Paz said. “Then we just worked to maintain our lead for the rest of them game leading us to the win.”
This victory highlighted the strengths of the girls, with precise shots and strong defensive play.
“We have been working on team effort in practice, so in the game we were setting up good passes for our teammates to be successful,” said junior Sabrina Meyers.
With such a commanding performance, the Vikings are confident going into their next matchup and eager to keep their winning streak.
