Paly Girls’ water polo beat Mountain View 15-2 last Thursday. “It was kind of rocky in the first half, but I think we were able to come back in the second half and win,” said junior Sabrina Meyers.
The Vikings pull out another win, beating Mountain View 15-2 on Thursday, September 25.
Regardless of any mistakes made, the girls were able to come together to play their hardest. “It was kind of rocky in the first half. We weren’t really playing to the best of our ability, but I think we were able to come back in the second half and win,” Sabrina Meyers (27’) said.
The girls also had a tournament that upcoming weekend. Playing against Mountain View gave them an extra opportunity to practice their skills and be well-prepared.
Senior Maeva Paz said, “it was a solid, fast-paced, and competitive game until the end, and it was a good game to get practice in before the big tournament we had over the weekend”.
Overall, the Vikings are on a winning streak and are feeling energized for their upcoming matchups.
