Paly Girls’ water polo pulled out another 16-5 win against Los Gatos last Tuesday, keeping their undefeated streak alive.
Because this was their second matchup of the season, the Vikings were able to weigh what went wrong and what went right in the last game.
“In the Gatos game, they came out extremely hard because this was our second matchup of the season,” Senior Maeva Paz said. “We both came in with an understanding of each other’s play, which made the game more difficult, but in the end, we worked well together and pulled out with a solid win to remain undefeated in the league”.
Overall, the game was a strong one. Being undefeated boosts team morale and confidence, but hard matchups remind them that they have to continue to grind for their wins.
