Paly girls Water Polo commanded a solid 13–3 win over Harker on Thursday, October 23rd, showcasing their consistency as the season nears its end.
From the beginning, the Vikings established control and dominance over their opponents. Consistent communication and strong offensive positioning kept Harker’s defense unable to keep up, while Paly was able to score some hard-hitting goals.
“It was definitely a strong game for our team, and we were able to run a really good offensive game,” junior Sabrina Meyers said.
Paly’s composure, motivation, and teamwork has defined their season, with a strong sense of trust building between the player.The team’s balance between offense and defense has helped them stay consistent throughout the season
“Our team is starting to wrap up the season, and I think we’ve grown a lot and are able to have trust in every shot and to believe in each other,” sophomore Sloane Nagayama said. “I’m excited for more league games and CCS with this team.”
The Vikings now turn their focus to the postseason, aiming to carry their momentum and teamwork into the upcoming CCS playoffs.
