In their third game of the season, the Paly girls volleyball team swept University on Thursday with a 3-0 score.
“I would say that during the game against university we all worked together very well and executed in our roles on the court,” junior Reese Japic said. “This allowed us to sweep them in three sets.”
The team felt very confident coming into the game, even though they had lost a few key players from last season.
“The team was really excited for our 3rd win even though it wasn’t league, it was a good way to start the season,” junior Cece De Feo said.
Throughout the whole game, the team showed lots of poise and confidence, not giving up a single set. Although in the scorebook it shows a perfect game, there are many things that this team thinks they can improve on.
“We communicated pretty decently throughout the entire game but it can be improved for sure.” Japic said.
Paly next plays Sacred Heart Prep tomorrow at home and there first league game is Thursday at Los Altos.
“I think we have a really great team this year,” Japic said. “I can’t wait to see what we do in our league and in playoffs.”
