Paly baseball defeated Carlmont 15-13 at Palo Alto High School on Saturday April 5.
The team was coming off of a 11-7 win against Los Altos on Wednesday, and they kept their momentum going into this game.
Paly got off to quick lead after the first inning through strong defense and well-hit balls. Carlmont cut the lead down in the middle, however, the Vikings never backed down, ending in a high scoring game and winning 15-13.
“We had a great offensive game today and the team was really productive,” senior Dexter Cleveringa said.
Offensively, the bats were rolling and all things seemed to go well offensively for the Vikings.
“Our hitting was great yesterday, the whole team was finding the barrels and it was a great team effort,” sophomore Justin Fung said.
Paly is now hitting their stride, winning their last two games. They hope to use this momentum for the rest of the season and continue to win this year.
