The Paly varsity boys’ tennis team loses to Homestead 2-5 on April 24th. Despite having lost the majority of their team the year prior, they are pushing themselves to rebuild and connect with one another.
“A lot of our issues this year stemmed from losing a couple of key seniors who contributed to the strength of our doubles lineup,” senior Leo Terman said.
Going into each match knowing that they would have to adjust to the loss of many seniors was a struggle for many on the boys’ tennis team
“This year we had a lot younger of a team, which will definitely benefit from the difficult match experiences we had,” senior Leo Terman said.
Even though they have continued to suffer from these losses, they will help them benefit in the long run and help their tennis team be stronger and more resilient in the future.
The boy’s tennis team has been able to remain positive despite experiencing these many challenges, they are staying hopeful that next season they will start to see better results.
