The Paly varsity boys tennis team loses to Los Altos 1-6 on April 29th. This was a challenging game, like many other games throughout the season, because they recently moved up a league.
“This year was the first year that the Boys Varsity team moved up leagues, so we faced much tougher competition,” senior Leo Terman said.
Keeping their head up despite this was challenging, but they have built high expectations for themselves next year.
“While winning is, of course, the goal, losing difficult matches this year against very good teams will enable players on the team to have better match experience next year,” senior Leo Terman said.
Even though losing a game is frustrating, it makes them better athletes as they are able to build off of it and learn, so they can become better in the future.
“As a result, while our record was not as good as we would have liked, I have confidence in the team that they will perform better in the future,” senior Leo Terman said.
Finishing the last game of the season, the Paly boys varsity tennis team has gained the experience to hopefully get better results next season.
