The Paly badminton team took on Cupertino on Tuesday March 3rd, on home court. The Vikings won 20-10, senior Kamili Fossati-Moiane addresses the teams positive effort and performances throughout the meet.
“As a team I think we played really well,” Moiane said. “Individually I didn’t play well, but it was still a great match experience playing with all my peers.”
Moiane emphasizes on the difficulties she faced with her match partner when playing.
“Communication with the partner I played with is hard sometimes because we play so different, yet we are always played together,” Moiane said.
Although experiencing challenges throughout the meet, Moiane and her partner are able to put their best foot forward and end the match strong.
“We try to stay optimistic and get as many points as we can for the match and our team,” Moiane said.
The Vikings set a great standard for the future with winning their first game of the season, next matchup is against the Homestead Mustangs on March 5th!
