The Palo Alto boys volleyball team took on Redwood on Saturday, February 28th. The Vikings ended up winning 3-0 in a very dominant victory. Although the Vikings dominated the game, they thought they could have left more out on the court. Specifically, Junior Lincoln Dixon believes that despite the win, they still have things to work on.
“Although we won in three straight sets, we weren’t happy with our performance as our energy was very low,” Dixon (27) said.
With Redwood not being the most fierce opponent, the Vikings played the game very comfortably. They were able to play the game at their own tempo and not care much about their opponent’s playstyle.
“After the first couple points, we realized that this opponent wasn’t very strong so we didn’t take the game seriously and therefore didn’t play as well as we should have,” Dixon (27) said.
With the victory, the Vikings look forward towards their upcoming matchup against SHCP away on March 3rd.
