The Palo Alto boys volleyball team took on Fremont on Thursday, March 11th. The Vikings ended up beating Fremont 3-0 with a very dominant performance.
They started very strong and even won three straight sets as their offense had a spectacular game. After the strong start, the Vikings were able to play with great confidence for the rest of the game.Although the Vikings had a very strong performance, they did experience some struggle in the game.
“One struggle we had was with serve receive, where we weren’t able to pass consistently,” Dixon (27) said.
Additionally, the team is a very young team and looking to build team chemistry with every game they play.
“Our team consists of mostly underclassmen, having 4 freshman, 3 sophomores, 5 juniors, and 0 seniors,” Dixon (27) said.
The match was overall a very meaningful game for the team, and represented a great start to a hopefully successful season.
