Paly baseball lost to Menlo-Atherton 9-19 on March 21.
The Vikings are off to a tough start this season, and know that they need to do better. Junior catcher Carter Bader talks about what went wrong in this game.
“We knew this game was gonna be a shootout, but we won’t be able to win games when we let in 19 runs,” Bader said.”
Though things have not been going their way, the Vikings are not defeated. Sophomore outfielder Justin Fung talks about how the team will bounce back from this defeat.
“This is not the start we hoped for, but we know what we need to work on and still have high hopes for the season, Fung said.
The Vikings have a long season ahead, and won’t let these past few games define their season.
