Paly baseball beat Los Altos 6-2 on April 17.
The Vikings played a solid game from the start and stayed in control for most of the day. Paly did a good job limiting mistakes, keeping pressure on Los Altos, and making enough plays to hold onto its lead as the game went on.
The Vikings stayed composed on both sides of the ball and did not let Los Altos build much momentum. By continuing to make the routine plays and coming through in key moments, Paly was able to put together a strong overall performance and close out the win. The team stayed focused throughout the game and did not let up late. Paly’s consistency helped them stay in control from the opening innings to the final out.
“We played well from the start and did a good job finishing the game strong,” junior Kavan Zia said.
The victory gave the Vikings another strong result as they continued to build momentum later in the season.
