Paly Boys Swim and Dive beats Cross-town Rival Gunn

The Paly boys swim team pulled ahead of cross-town rival Gunn at their senior night dual meet 102-87.

With it being a Gunn meet, many Paly swimmers stepped up in order to show Paly dominance. Unlike previous meets, the Paly team expected this meet to be extremely close as Gunn had their lineup of talented swimmers.

“A lot of us know the guys on Gunn really well, so that made it even more competitive,” Jeremy Dukes (‘24) said.

This was an exciting meet as many athletes came off their taper and made their CCS cuts. With leagues less than a week away, the team is working hard to be at their best for the meet.

“In the coming weeks, we will make sure to work on the details like turns and race strategy, so we can all perform at our best when it comes time for CCS.” Jeremy Dukes (‘24) said.
