On Friday, Paly Girls lacrosse went head-to-head with Saratoga in one of the 4 last four games of the season.
The girls went into the game with confidence. “I felt like we were well prepared for this game, and since the team we were playing was Saratoga, we were pretty sure there was a good chance that we could take home the win,” Junoir Meera Singh (26′).
The game started slowly, but as the goals were made, Paly started to kick up the intensity. The team’s defensive performance has notably improved throughout the season, and in this game, especially, their strengthened defense was clearly on display.
“I’m very happy with the way this game turned out. I think we have come a long way this season, especially with our defense, but overall I’m really proud of not just the final score but the way we played,” said defense player Keerthi Raj (’26).
Overall, the team has made remarkable progress since the beginning of the season, and an even greater leap compared to last year.
We hope to see you at the girls’ next game against Mountain View on the 2 of May. Sko Vikes!
