Hey y'all! My name is Katie Yen and this is my third and final year on Viking Magazine! This year I am business manager of the publication and am super excited for this year. A story that has always stayed with me was my story on Athlete Burnout. It was super fun and interesting to hear from Paly athletes about this topic. Fun fact: I am really good at pickle ball!

Hi! I am Sarah Thieman, a new Staff Writer for the 2023-2024 Viking Staff. I participate on the Paly girls Field Hockey and Swim and Dive team, and after school I tutor for DreamCatchers. I also love to play recreational soccer on the weekends. I have two older siblings that have graduated from Paly, and a fun fact about me is that I currently have an exchange student from Sweden living with me!
