When rumors start making their way through the student body, they are generally a joke or fib that snowball into a fullblown conversation topic. So when I heard from a reliable source that Desean Jackson was coming to our school, I was ready to go find the little twerp who would start such an absurd rumor and give him a piece of my mind. When my adviser confirmed that D-Jax would in fact be gracing the Paly campus Friday, I just about did a backflip across room 314.

Yes, THE Desean Jackson. The one you’ve seen on TV, burning corners and skipping untouched through the secondary’s of any team the Eagles may face.

The dude ran a 4.29 40 at the combine, and he’s a Cal man so you gotta give him Bay Area props. I watched him singlehandedly [defeat the New York Giants on a punt return.

Jackson is an absolute beast, and we are lucky to have him as a guest at our school. Maybe he’ll let me try to cover him on a route or two…
