The Paly boys water polo team take Senior Night by storm, going head to head with Los Gatos and taking the win with a final score of 10-8.

“Although we had a couple of blunders and inaccuracies, we came back from the challenges and took the win,” junior Grant Jauregui said.

The Cats are known to be tough competitors in the league, and tonight did not defy that reputation. Throughout the game, the teams never went above a two-goal lead.

“Even though it was a close game, we combated the other teams’ strengths,” senior Will Rowell said. “Not only did we pull our act together, but our goalie had just an amazing game”

Senior goalie Ian Johnson, blocking shots left and right throughout the course of the game, explains how the crowd helped fire up the intensity.

“The crowd was massive, which made it not only a great Senior Night but an all-around super exciting game for us,” Johnson said.

Paly students took the time to celebrate our athletes graduating this year. Great work to all of Paly boys water polo, and good luck to all of the seniors in their upcoming endeavors. Sko Vikes!
