The Paly girls soccer team fell to Los Altos 6-1 tonight at home during their senior night.

The senior night ceremony before the game featured speeches from team captain Kiana Feldis (’24) and teammate Alessandra Chandler (’24). The team honored their seven seniors with gifts, balloons and hugs and celebrated the end of the season. They also thanked their coaches, who stepped up mid season to lead the team.

“Senior night always has a special feeling because it’s the last time many of us will every play together,” Feldis said. “It’s really hard to say goodbye to teammates you have had for 3 years, but it’s also a time to celebrate all the incredible moments you have shared throughout the experience

Los Altos brought their A-game and gave the Vikings a difficult fight. Feldis notes that while it can be tough to end the season on a loss, it doesn’t define the team.

“It can be really difficult for the team especially if we loose but we have to remember it’s about so much more than that single game,” Feldis said.

This marks the bittersweet end of the season for the girls team.
