Last Thursday, the Paly girls tennis team played their 1st preseason match against Carmel, losing 6-1.

“It was a tough match” Sophomore Jaslynn Lee said, “the good thing is that it was the first match of the season, so we have a lot of room to improve.”

This was the first game for a team that is searching for a new identity after losing multiple seniors the season prior. “We have a brand new lineup, and this game was like a good warmup for the season to come.” Lee said.

The teams next match and regular season opener is next week on This upcoming Thursday against Monta Vista, where the team looks to have a bouceback performance.
