Paly Boys swimming fell during their joint meet against Leland, Menlo Atherton and Saint Francis by a final score of 95-56. Despite a strong start to the meet, the team was unable to hold on and eventually succumbed.
Even though they were unable to get the result, the Vikings gave it their all, working to the last man to stay as close as they could.
“We were really close until the last relay, but unfortunately we couldn’t quite hold on all the way,” senior Nico Ogawa said. “I’m proud of how resilient and hard we worked together, even if we couldn’t get the result.”
Now 2-1 in the regular season, the Vikings look to bounce back during their upcoming meets. Next, the Vikings take on Saratoga at home in an opportunity to bounce back towards the top.
