Paly baseball defeated Gunn 8-0 at Palo Alto High School on Friday April 25.

The team was coming off of a 10-3 win against Gunn High School on Wednesday, and they kept their momentum going into this game.

Paly got off to quick lead after the first inning through strong defense and well-hit balls. The pitching in the game was outstanding, and completely shut out Gunn, ending with a score of 8-0 .

 “The boys played really well on defense and that helped us on offense,” sophomore Justin Fung said.

Offensively, the bats were rolling and all things seemed to go well offensively for the Vikings.

Paly is now hitting their stride, winning their last two games. They hope to use this momentum for the rest of the season and continue to win this year.
