The Vikings football team lost against Kings Academy 35-7 on Friday, September 26.
Following a loss to San Mateo last Friday 31-14, the Palo Alto football team was looking to bounce back and play their best ball. The game started quickly and was tied after the first quarter. But after the first quarter, Kings Academy racked on two touchdowns to push the lead to 14. “We had trouble moving the ball on offense the entire game,” senior Jake Wang said. “We also were not finishing plays on the defensive side of the ball.”
The Vikings just could not find their rhythm throughout the game. “Overall, our team did not play our best on both sides of the ball,” junior Justin Fung said. “We have to keep going and continue to get better as the season goes on.”
The Vikings now start the season with five losses and zero wins. They hope to bounce back and will face off against Wilcox (2-2) on October 10, 2025.
