In the second year of Paly Flag Football, the Vikings had a dominant, 14-3 regular season. The season was an incredible turnaround as they were 0-14 last year. The Vikings won three games by 60 or more points and seven games by 30 or more points, showcasing the growth of their dominant offense.
The Vikings finished the regular season as SCVAL champions and moved up two divisions for the playoffs. They looked to build on their strong regular season in their first playoff matchup against Division I first seed Branham. Unfortunately, they lost 41-9.
“The season went really well compared to last year,” Kailia Leming (‘26) said. Leming specifically attributed the team’s offensive growth to sophomore quarterback Eleanor Wells. “Eleanor really excelled on our team because she plays really smart. She has an amazing arm and her overall positive honesty just keeps our team motivated.”
With underclassman stars and sophomore quarterback Eleanor Wells at the helm, the Vikings look to expand on this amazing program turnaround in 2026.
