On Friday, February 6th, the Palo Alto Vikings men’s basketball team lost to Los Gatos 43-28, marking their second loss in a row. The Vikings’ senior guard Kacey Washington talked about what went wrong for them.

“We were right with them at half, then we had no offense the entire second half, which allowed them to run away with it,” Washington said.

Though this was a defeating loss, the Vikings are putting it in their rear-view mirror and plan on finishing the season strong.

“The plan is to win out the season and make a run in playoffs,” senior forward Jake Wang said. “We can’t let a bad loss like this late in the season stop us from finishing the season the way we know we can.”
