The Palo Alto High School boys’ varsity soccer team came in last in their group at the 2011 winter classic soccer tournament.

The boys started fine with a 1-1 tie against Foothill High School, but didn’t play as well for the rest of the tournament. They lost their next two games, 5-0 and 2-0 to Amador Valley High School and Granada High School respectively.

They ended the tournament with a 3-1 loss to James Logan High School in the consolation round, sending the boys home with the second worst record in the tournament.

Look for the boys to redeem themselves in their upcoming games against Menlo-Atherton, Los Gatos, and Carlmont on December 8^th, December 12^th and December 15^th respectively.
