The Paly Boys Swim team hosted Saratoga on Friday, March 28, but the meet ended up being more of an internal challenge than a head-to-head competition.
“The Saratoga meet actually was basically a meet against ourselves because Saratoga doesn’t actually have any athletes for their diving program this year,” freshman Jensen Craig (‘27) said.
While the meet lacked the usual competition, swimmers still used it as a chance to stay sharp and work on technique.
“The meet went well and was pretty fun, but it wasn’t the best because it was mid-season,” Albert Yan (‘28) said.
Despite the unusual matchup, the Vikings have been swimming strong all season and are optimistic heading into the final stretch.
