Brief: Wrestling falls short in the Webber Lawson Varsity Tournament

In the Lawson Varsity tournament the Vikings were unable to come out on top, despite James Giacca (’15) win in his 126 lb. weight class.

“I wish we preformed better as a whole,” Giacca said. “But at this point getting matches in is good practice.”

The Vikes plan on training hard this week to prepare for this next match at home this Thursday.

“We have this week of training to prepare for Los Gatos on Thursday,” Giacca said. “We just need to get back to the grind.”

Giacca won all four of his matches against Wilcox, Leland, Aptos and Santa Clara.

“We just need to get back to the grind,” Giacca said. “And just try and focus on one match at a time.”

The Vikes will take on Los Gatos at home this Thursday, December 19th, at 5:30 p.m.
